Servers and security

Dell servers with Linux or Windows operating systems, all of which have use Intel Pentium processors, fast Ethernet adapters.

Shared servers run a RAID based disk redundancy solution, should any of the primary disk drives fail, a secondary disk drive can take over the work load with no loss of availability.  Each server also has a replication partner which can take over its workload in the event of a problem or during planned maintenance.  In addition, data on our servers is backed up.

The network is protected by multiple firewalls; protecting your website from malicious attacks, viruses and trojans.

SLA: guaranteed network will be available 99.99% of the time.

EU Hosting Centre situated in the Netherlands:

Multi-homed European network offers 37Gbps total network capacity using 14 network carriers. Using the BGP-4 protocol which selects the fastest connection available, this also serves as redundant route in case of network failure.

SLA: guaranteed that the network will be available equal to or higher than 99.97% in any calendar month, subject to some exclusions.

Servers

Cloud environment which offers load balancing with full redundancy (every component is fully redundant), and instant failover. Also it offers persistent storage: data is stored on state-of-the-art SAN using over 500 disks writing and reading an array, disk IO becomes almost as fast as RAM. All this combines into a highly resilient unbreakable system.
