Your browser is under threat from spyware and malware

Browsers (Firefox, Brave, Chrome, Edge, etc) are all susceptible to infection from spyware and malware.

Quite often the infection occurs from allowing scripts to run in your browser when browsing an infected website; however, allowing scripts to run is becoming necessary for all websites to view them.  Best practice might be to use at least two browsers:

 - one you reserve for only the website which you know you can trust (at least consider trustworthy), such as your bank, HMRC, etc;
 - a secondary browser used for other sites and searches, etc.
