PHP developers: demand still increasing

 

The demand this year shows its still outstripping other languages (we reported growth in PHP demands during 2008). Compare the growth, or lack of, with ASP for the same period!

The skills demand for the first quarter of 2009 shows the majority of IT skills to be in negative figures, some as low as -55% (Java). The only skills bucking the trend are PHP +10%, JavaScript +7% and AJAX +1%:
